One of my all-time favorite parts of the five-part leadership application I used in my classroom was Step #5: “DAZZLE ME.”
Just two simple words—but what followed was anything but ordinary.
Over the years, students responded with creativity, passion, and brilliance including a call from John Williams, an original symphonic composition, and a three day scavenger hunt leading me to a 50-foot marching band sign on the side of a mountain.

The journey starts with five reflective pre-training units that challenge students to examine their character, influence, and responsibility before they ever apply. They then complete a leadership personality assessment that uncovers how they’re uniquely wired to serve — aligning students to roles based on strengths, not popularity.
Once selected, the growth doesn’t stop. Ten transformative post-training units guide students and the team through real-world leadership concepts — communication, integrity, service, culture-building, and accountability — equipping them to lead with clarity and confidence.
